Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma starrer Kannum Kannum Kolliyadithal directed by Desingu Periyasamy. Now the actor is going to direct his second film with Simbu. It is noteworthy that this film is actor Simbu's 48th film.

Recently, the announcement of periodic films like Captain Miller, Thug Life, Ganguwa, Tangalan etc. of the leading actors is coming out. Desangu Periyasamy has said in an interview that this 48th film of Simbu is going to be made as a periodic film.

He also said that he plans to make it a quality local and commercial periodical rather than an ordinary periodical. It has also been announced that the film will be produced by the international hero Kamal Haasan through his company Rajkamal Films International.

Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is rumored to be playing an important role in the local periodical film STR 48 2023 iBomma. Also, it has been reported that hit actress Keerthy will be paired with Suresh Simbu in this film. Actress Keerthy Suresh has been acting in films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. It has been reported that Keerthy Suresh, who has Siren, Raghudatta, Revolver Rita, Kannivedi in the line-up with Jayam Ravi, has joined Simbu's 48th film.

STR 48 movie is going to be made with huge budget. Currently, the pre-production work of the film is going on. In this film, Simbu plays the dual role of hero and villain. And they are planning to release this film in the summer vacation of 2025, starting from February next year.

KGF music composer Ravi Basrur

Ravi Basrur, the music composer of Kannada film KGF, is also said to be composing music for STR 48. Director Desingu Periyasamy has planned to give quality music for this film like the music of KGF. And it is said that the production company will release the official information about all these one by one. In that sense, this newly joined giant alliance seems ready for a hit film in 2025.
