Ronnie Screwvala bankrolls Sam Bahadur and features Vick Kaushal, who is portraying field marshal Sam Manekshaw, alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
The film marks the reunion of director Meghna Gulzar and actor Vicky Kaushal after the blockbuster hit film Raazi. The film is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. The trailer received praise from the critics and the audience, and the action war film is scheduled to release on the 1st of December.
