A Quiet Place: Day One 2024 Vegamovies: Release Date, Review
After the success of 'A Quiet Place' in 2018, John Krasinski and his team got down to work on the second part. But we already know what happened in March 2020: the coronavirus pandemic spread across the planet, and the long-awaited second film had to be one of the first films to have to make changes to its schedule. 'A Quiet Place 2' was initially scheduled for the end of March, but in the middle of it Krasinski himself shared on social media that they were going to wait to be able to see it all again in theaters . So we got to June 2021, almost a year and a half later, and the wait was worth it.
And months before we could see the sequel, in fact in November 2020, it was known that this universe created by Krasinski was expanding: a spin-off was announced. Thus the power of the horror story created by the actor of 'The Office' was confirmed.
After so many announcements, the creator of the saga announced on his social networks the start of filming . The producer recognized how happy he was to be there with Lupita Nyong'o, one of the main actresses, and Michael Sarnoski, the director who will be in charge of the project.

The script is based on an original idea by Krasinski and, although the plot has not been fully revealed, we do know that we will be able to see the arrival of the creatures in New York City , and see that day 1 when chaos broke out.

Back in June 2021, as the second part was preparing to hit theaters around the world, it was announced that the spin-off could arrive in 2023. Finally, and after a slight delay, Paramount Pictures has now announced the official release date for 'A Quiet Place: Day 1' : June 28, 2024 , making it one of the most anticipated films of 2024 .

Jeff Nichols was the filmmaker announced to take on the story. However, at the end of October 2021, the director left pre-production to join another Paramount project, which had little to do with horror. After Nichols' departure, which was an amicable departure, the studio considered that the director of 'Pig', Michael Sarnoski , was the best option to get behind the cameras.

Lupita Nyong'o will be the protagonist of this story arising from the universe of 'A Quiet Place', after starring in the sequel ' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ' by Marvel. And she will be accompanied by none other than Joseph Quinn , the actor who has
stood out in season 4 of ' Stranger Things ' as the metalhead Eddie Munson.
In addition to Nyong'o and Quinn, the prequel will feature Alex Wolff ('Hereditary') and Djimon Hounsou , who reprises his role after appearing in 'A Quiet Place 2'
