Accident or Conspiracy: Godhra 2024 Vegamovies: Release Date, Review

The trailer of 'Accident or Conspiracy: Godhra' starring actor Ranvir Shorey has been released today on June 25. The social drama is based on the 2002 Godhra train burning case in Gujarat, India, which later led to the 2002 Gujarat riots. Ranvir Shorey, who is currently in 'Bigg Boss OTT 3', plays a lawyer in the powerful film. It also stars Manoj Joshi, who also plays a lawyer. The film is produced under the banner of Om Trinetra Films and Artverse Studios and directed by M.K. Shivaksh. 'Godhra' is all set to release in theatres on July 12.

'Godhra' stars Ranvir Shorey and Manoj Joshi, apart from Hitu Kanodia, Denisha Ghumra, Akshita Namdev, M.K. Shivaksh, Rajeev Surti, Ganesh Yadav, Makrand Shukla, Swati Verma, Gulshan Pandey, Avyaan Alpesh Mehta and CA Rudra among others.

The trailer begins with an announcement at a railway station that the Sabarmati Express is arriving at platform no. 1. The train arrives from Muzaffarpur to Ahmedabad. It then shows us visuals of the burning train and passengers. It shows Ranveer as a lawyer fighting a case saying, "Sabarmati train ko jalayo nahi hai, unko jalayo dekh gaya." Then a woman tells the reporters: "Murder of thousands of people, gang rape, this is not a conspiracy then what else is it." It again shows Ranveer's character saying, "Ye Prasanna is just making up a story, to cover his wife sir."

'Godhra' revolves around the tragic events of the Sabarmati Express, in which 59 people, including women and children, were allegedly set on fire. The Nanavati Mehta Commission was formed to investigate the Godhra incident.

Like veteran actor Manoj Joshi, Ranveer too is seen giving a strong performance in the film. It will be interesting to see the two of them expressing their opinions on the case in the courtroom. Why only the Sabarmati train was attacked? What is the truth behind the attack? Was it an accident or a conspiracy? Well, the purpose of 'Godhra' is to expose the truth.
