Stree 2 2024 Vegamovies: Release Date, Review

In the last 4 years since 'Stree', the producers have created a whole horror universe in which ghosts like 'Roohi', 'Bhediya' and 'Munjya' have arrived. But without the return of Stree, the matter seemed incomplete. Now the trailer of 'Stree 2' has come as a big good news for the fans.

Stree', released in 2018, was a surprise hit that gave tremendous entertainment to the audience. The way this film starring Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi balanced horror and comedy became a landmark for Hindi films. 

In the last 4 years since 'Stree', the producers have created a whole horror universe in which ghosts like 'Roohi', 'Bhediya' and 'Munjya' have arrived. But without the return of Stree, the matter seemed incomplete and the good news was that Shraddha Kapoor's most popular character is returning again. Now the trailer of 'Stree 2' has come as a big good news for the fans.  

Will Stree scare or save?

You must have seen that at the end of the film 'Stree', Shraddha's character takes away the chopped braid of the ghost, which has some different powers. Vicky and gang together chased Stree away, but it is written in Chanderi Purana that as soon as Stree leaves, a new ghost will come. And the name of this new ghost is Sarkata. This is the ghost due to whom the terror of Stree started.

At the end of the first film, Shraddha's character was seen carrying away Stree's braid, which will now be used to fight the snake in 'Stree 2'. On the other hand, Rajkumar Rao's character Vicky and his gang of friends are now ready for a new adventure with Shraddha. Rudra Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) is once again ready to help with his store of knowledge.

Along with the new story, this time we are also expected to get answers to some of the previously left out questions. Like, what is the name of Shraddha Kapoor's character? And what will happen to her love story with Vicky? 

'Stree 2' will be released on this day

The director of 'Stree 2' is Amar Kaushik, who has directed 'Bala' and 'Bhediya' apart from the first film of this franchise. It can be seen in the trailer that this time again Amar has created a strong atmosphere and along with the balance of horror-comedy in the story, there are going to be tremendous surprises as well. 

The cameos of Varun Dhawan's character 'Bhediya' and other characters from the horror universe are also going to make the story more interesting. 'Stree 2' will be released in theatres on August 15, 2024.
